For women, looks
matter the most and this explains why we spend so much time in the mirror
putting on make-ups and anything in an effort to conceal those blemishes, pigmentation,
unsightly spots and acne scars on our faces. If you got blemish-free, smooth
and even-toned face, doing such is no longer necessary.
We should suppose to feel comfortable with
the type of skin that we have. After all, you don’t have to achieve that fair
complexion just to feel stunningly beautiful. Then again, sometimes those dark and
unsightly spots and skin pigmentation could get you worried, concerned, anxious
and insecure. This greatly affects our self-esteem and the way we deliver
ourselves to anyone. It could even cause social impairment that is making you
unable to interact confidently with others.
Wearing a nice pair of shorts would
even make you feel conscious knowing that you’ve got dark knees. Most of the
time, you would just wear long sleeves to hide your dark elbows. And for sure,
you would feel a little bit troubled with those brown patches that you have on
your skin needing you to spend extra minutes in the mirror every time you wake
up in the morning covering them up with the use of make-up and water-resistant
foundation.
Many of us are having problems with
our own skin. Whilst there are various other skin problems, most women
concerned most on skin discolouration/pigmentation. Some of the widespread skin
pigmentation conditions are:
·
Sun and age spots- these are caused by
unprotected and too much exposure under the sun. This usually occurs each time
we forget to apply sunblock cream or lotion.
·
Hormonal imbalance-this might be the
cause of getting those brown patches on your skin, this condition is known as Melasma.
Although it doesn’t seem detrimental to one’s own health, it could still be
bothersome.
·
Discolouration brought about by insect
bites, acne marks, scratches or scars you get from the old skin disease you
have acquired before.
·
Dark spots all over your body- this is
commonly seen on the knees as well as elbows that might be left by a massive load
of dead skin cells.
The best solution to this problem is
no longer a mystery. These days, there are already wide array of bleaching and
skin whitening procedures that you can try. You can choose from a wide-range of
selections made available, from over-the-counter treatments to a specialized
procedure that you can get when you talk to your dermatologist. Just do a
painstaking search and you will never go wrong about it.
